"May you live interesting times!"

I've got the seawater pump out of the boat and in Texas for rebuild/repairs and now there is a disturbance in the force as if a whirly-girl was headed towards my boat in Pensacola AGAIN. Shocked

The good news is 1) I'm ambulatory these days and can get to the boat fairly quickly and 2) it's early for the disturbance and the path is not set yet.

I wonder if I can get out of a ticket by saying my boat needs me?

As long as you're driving on I-10 or south of it. Anything no peace officer would ever understand. Cheers

Well, good news, bad news.

"I" dodged a bullet but I know people who are either being skimmed by it or finalizing clean up and tie down for a direct hit. Fingers crossed that my friends don't have any problems.

Hurricane Debby certainly had us worried in P'cola for a minute!

In the Gulfport, Fl area, they didn't dodge it. My friends there say 19 boats washed up onshore due to anchors dragging or rodes just parting. One boat came from the mooring field due to a chafed pennant and a suspected hit from a dragging boat. My friend's boat came through just fine in its wave protected marina.

Further north, I have a friend who only had to clean up a few limbs in his yard after Debby left town.
